Sex Doll Heads: Compatibility, Material and Replacement Buying Guide

A replacement head can change appearance more easily than replacing a full body, but compatibility is usually brand- and connector-specific.

Editorial note: we do not claim firsthand product use unless explicitly documented. Current merchant policies, inventory and prices should be rechecked before purchase.

Compatibility comes first

Confirm the connector type, neck circumference and manufacturer compatibility before assuming a head will fit a body from another brand. Even visually similar connectors may not be interchangeable.

Material can differ from the body

A silicone head may be paired with a TPE body in some hybrid configurations. That can affect color matching, feel and care routine, so verify both components rather than labeling the entire product with one material.

Movable features add complexity

Jaw, eye or other articulated systems can improve posing and presentation but create additional mechanical parts. Ask how the system is adjusted and maintained before treating it as automatically better.

Hair choice affects maintenance

Wigs are replaceable and easier to change; implanted hair can create a more integrated look but may be harder to repair or restyle. Choose based on the maintenance you are willing to do.

Current marketplace evidence

Silicon Wives currently sells separate heads from several manufacturers, including ZELEX, WM Doll, Irontech and Starpery. That makes replacement availability worth checking before you choose a body ecosystem.

Head compatibility is an ecosystem decision

The safest assumption is that a head is compatible only when the manufacturer or retailer says it is compatible with your body/connector. Connector diameter, bolt style, neck geometry and material can vary. Do not buy an expensive head based only on visual fit in a photo.

Choose among four head variables

Replacement availability can change the body decision

Silicon Wives currently sells separate heads across several manufacturers, including WM, ZELEX and Irontech. Before committing to a body ecosystem, check whether replacement/alternate heads for that connector are actually sold. A body with a healthy replacement ecosystem can be easier to own long term than a proprietary system with scarce parts.

Hybrid-head maintenance

If the head material differs from the body, follow the stricter material-specific routine at the connection point. Irontech's hybrid guide specifically discusses TPE oiliness at a silicone-head/TPE-body neck interface and recommends periodic inspection/cleaning.
