Discreet packaging
Silicon Wives currently states that shipments use plain packaging without product-identifying markings. If discretion is critical, confirm whether the carrier label or international customs documentation could still reveal a generic sender or merchandise description.
Production time and transit time are different
A custom order may spend weeks in assembly before the carrier receives it. The current merchant shipping page separates roughly 2–5 weeks of assembly from subsequent transit time. In-stock inventory uses a different timeline.
International buyers should plan for customs
Free shipping does not automatically mean duties, taxes or import rules disappear. Check your destination country's rules before ordering and budget for charges that the merchant does not collect.
Prepare for inspection day
Have a camera, order configuration and enough time to inspect the shipment before use. The merchant currently asks buyers to report damage or defects within 24 hours, making delay costly.
Carrier pickup can improve privacy
If home delivery is difficult, ask the merchant and carrier whether a staffed pickup location is available for your shipment. Confirm weight and package dimensions before assuming the box will be easy to transport from a pickup point.
Create a delivery-day runbook
- Confirm carrier/tracking and arrange to be present or use an approved pickup option.
- Clear a private space large enough to open a long/heavy carton.
- Have the saved configuration and a camera ready.
- Photograph obvious outer-box damage before opening.
- Inspect body, head and ordered options before use.
- Keep packaging until the inspection window has passed and any issue is resolved.
Separate four different clocks
Production time is factory build time. Transit time starts after carrier pickup. Cancellation time can expire before either. Defect-reporting time starts at delivery. Silicon Wives currently states roughly 2–5 weeks of made-to-order assembly, faster in-stock dispatch, a 24-hour standard cancellation window and a 24-hour defect-reporting expectation.
Privacy planning beyond a plain box
Discreet external packaging helps, but privacy can also be affected by package size, carrier notifications, signature/pickup requirements and customs paperwork. If using a carrier hold location, confirm that the package weight/dimensions are manageable for your vehicle and that the service accepts the shipment.
International-order risk
Import duties, taxes and local rules can sit outside the merchant's shipping charge. Check those before ordering because a package held for customs can alter timing and cost. Save all invoices and tracking documentation until delivery is complete.
