Choose the position before the furniture
Follow the manufacturer recommendation for long-term storage orientation, then choose a closet, case or support system that accommodates it. Do not force the product into a small space because the dimensions barely fit.
Minimize pressure and creasing
Long-term compression against hard edges can deform soft materials. Support weight broadly and avoid leaving limbs or surfaces pinched against shelves, straps or narrow contact points.
Control staining surfaces
Use clean, light-colored, material-safe barriers between the doll and dyed fabrics or unknown plastics. TPE can be especially sensitive to dye transfer.
Avoid heat, sunlight and moisture
Choose a cool, dry location away from direct sun, heaters, excessive humidity and pets. Electronics, if present, may create additional storage requirements.
Design for retrieval
A storage solution is poor if it requires a risky lift every time. Keep the center of mass close to your body when moving a heavy product and use a lower, accessible location where practical.
Choose the storage method from weight and material
A 60 lb body stored at floor level can be easier to own than a 40 lb body on a high shelf. The storage solution should minimize lifts, prevent pressure points and keep unknown dyes/plastics away from soft material.

Build a retrieval path, not just a hiding place
Walk the route from storage to cleaning area while imagining the full dead weight and limb length. Count steps, thresholds, door widths and turns. If you must lift above waist height or carry down stairs every time, reconsider the location or product weight.
