Do not assume every WM product is the same TPE formulation. Product pages may distinguish newer formulations, silicone-related lines or different head systems. Record the exact material before comparing price.
Use body weight as a filter
WM's large catalog can make appearance the easiest browsing filter, but a more practical method is to eliminate bodies above your handling limit first, then compare head and cosmetic options.
Skeleton upgrades should solve a use case

Three representative WM configurations tell the story
Auburn 157 cm TPE — the manageable benchmark
Silicon Wives lists Auburn at 62 lb (28 kg) with TPE and a steel movable-joint skeleton. It is a useful WM reference because it combines a common full-size height with a relatively lower listed weight and a current sale price of $1,699.
Inessa 175 cm TPE — the tall-body tradeoff
Inessa is 175 cm and 84 lb (38 kg). The extra height expands presentation but also makes transfer, storage and stair handling harder. It is the kind of body that should be eliminated early if your handling ceiling is conservative.
Dominique Weight-Reduced Silicone — WM beyond TPE
The 163 cm, roughly 65 lb full-silicone Dominique shows why “WM = TPE only” is outdated. It also illustrates WM's strategy of using weight-reduction systems to make premium material configurations more practical.
Material families: TPE, S-TPE, silicone and hybrid
WM's official site currently separates TPE, silicone and hybrid categories and its 2026 TPE catalog includes products explicitly labeled STPE. Treat S-TPE as a manufacturer-defined material family, not an independent industry standard. Ask the seller which formulation is being used on the exact body and what care instructions apply.
Hybrid WM listings can combine a silicone head with an S-TPE body. That can improve facial finish while keeping a softer body, but it also means the head/body junction and material-specific maintenance deserve attention.
Skeleton and authenticity considerations
WM publishes a ball-jointed hand skeleton among its current technology offerings and operates an anti-counterfeit code system. Those are meaningful brand-level differentiators, but options are not necessarily standard on every body. Verify the selected hand system, standing-foot configuration and main skeleton before approving the order.
For authenticity, keep the manufacturer code/instructions that ship with the product and verify the code through WM's official system where applicable. This is more useful than relying on a retailer badge alone.
Strengths, limits and ideal buyer
WM strengths: unusually broad body/head catalog, deep TPE experience, current S-TPE and silicone options, and a wide range of prices/configurations. Limits: that breadth creates choice overload; body weights vary dramatically; and promotional upgrades can make two apparently similar WM listings hard to compare.
Ideal buyer: someone who wants to optimize around body shape, height, weight and material with many combinations. Poor fit: a buyer who wants a small, tightly curated premium lineup and does not want to compare generations/options.
Before ordering: record body code, head code, material generation, listed configured weight, skeleton/hand choice, standing option, production status and every paid/free upgrade on one sheet. Compare that sheet—not the product nickname—to alternatives.
